What is the hardcore ? I'm not a musican. And I'm not well-informed of hardcore. But I'm sure that it is surely freedom of style. Of corse,the freedom includes all of meaning.. By the way,I saw the strange pic.  This is a part of CD inner jacket of BACKFIRE!'s album(title is STILL DEDICATED) Who is them ? We must read it carefully, Words is not us but it isthem. BACKFIRE! consider themselves to be real hardcore band. Those words are quite great manifesto. But he should wear the T-shirts in reverse. So audience might see obviously their attitude. (Of course,he can plead that he paid attention to camera) They have said, You don't know a fuck about hardcore(song title not impressed) And they define hardcor. It is about makin' trouble in the neighborhood. We didn't care,we just had our fun (song title straight outta M-town) We can have a freedom that we don't care trouble for the neighborhood. It is ordinary attitude. But art is not the one which confirm under the present condition Music is it too. And core of creation is that it breaks down ordinary recognition and it poke people broken one at people. BACKFIRE! have hardly a core of creation. However,they say their words. You don't know a fuck about hardcore They have a right to say so. But I want to say this words to them. You don't know a fuck about hardcore Their fireworks are only backup for under the present condition. ONE LAW FOR THEM. Result for their words, they choose a political backlash, and they fired themselves for hardcore band. BACKFIRE! want to affirm that ideal of hardcore backfired. But it only means that they are under dogs. If you are possible, I recommend that you read text of William Faulkner's UNESCO speech. |

What do we mean by "we have a hope" ? Needless to say, it seems that it includes a change. The change includes two directions which are time or place. The time means that it is not the present time. The place means that it is not this place. If we can't expect of it,we wouldn't be able to have a hope. But We can never force people to give up having a hope. Because we can't dominate time, and time has all sorts of possibility. Problem is about a place. We can dominate a place as we like. If place of freedom remains,we will have a hope toward that place. But if we have a deep despair,the hope is lukewarm. Why I say so ? Because such having hope means that we give up true hope. By definition,despair must reject a hope. So despair will scheme to kill a hope. As a result,hope will disappear. But we never name vanishing one "hope". Of course, it doesn't mean that we must not have a hope toward such a place. If we fight for deep despair,we must not point our hope at outside. Because as I wrote, if it is deep despair,despair will scheme to kill a hope. By the way,what do we mean "the inside disappear" ? Of course,it is time that "the outside" disappear, in other words,it means that all of place becomes "the inside". If world enter to the inside of despair,we can't have a hope. Needles to say,it is only lukewarm hope. If each other have nothing but lukewarm hope, we can't overcome deep despair. Paradoxically speaking, When we can't have lukewarm hope, we can have a true hope that we can really overcome deep despair. And,world enter to the inside of despair, it means that each other share deep despair. (That's too bad situation, but if the situation is inevitable, we will be not able to have little choice what to do) It is a matter for regret that despair is raging.. But it doesn't mean that it is despairing situation. Because if someone give us the despair, it will mean that it is increase of hateing people against them. Besides, people doesn't have lukewarm hope but can have a truly strong hope. We need to do is only one. We overcome the despair. In order to do it,at least we have had our say. It is a starting of all. |
